We missed a lot of the coast on our cycle trip along the Camino del Norte in 2014. The last two days of walking, biking and pushing have been varied and simply stunning. We followed tracks around headlands, crossed beaches on boardwalks, and of course, climbed steep roads up into the mountains.

I’ve accepted that I just have to walk up the steeper climbs now that I don’t have the gears or knees to make the ascents. I like walking, and my arms and shoulders are getting stronger. My lungs are returning to their pre-COVID capacity, and I am feeling more confident that Grandma Friday and I will make it to Santiago again.

Thank good for the boardwalk!

Beautiful pics Ruth and Gordon! Good to hear you’re starting to feel better and that you’re even walking now Ruth. Buen Camino!

Beach shots are beautiful! It must be so refreshing to be at that seaside. Is that a monkey relief🐒? Man’s true nature (a typical reference)? Gord I think you should wear your hair like that guy beside the monkey – Like in our uni days.

What kind of food are you enjoying? Have fun….

I have a little news if you want to Zoom this week.
